About us
Situated in Wiltshire we have been supplying and installing Sky Satellite
equipment & TV/FM aerials for the past 16 years.
The director of Melksham Satellites Ltd is Robert Charlton, formerly known
as R. Charlton Aerials back in the old days. Yes! he has climbed all sorts
of roof's in the wind, the rain, sub zero temperatures and even darkness
fortunately not all at the same time.

At
the turn of the century we became known as Melksham Satellite
Services, the business then expanded to incorporate
internet orders and facilities for retailing. A huge demand for
equipment from Europe became apparent and Melksham Satellites
restructured to satisfy that demand.
We
now have a large showroom where customers can see the wide
range of Satellite and Aerial equipment plus demonstrations on the
1000's of channels available throughout Europe.
Our
local fitting service remains the same with all digital
installations being professionally installed and meter tested at a
fair price.

It's quality that counts
We have lost count the amount of times customers have contacted us because other
fitters could not provide a good quality satellite or aerial reception. With
common sense and professional metering equipment we have been able to rectify
years of misery and in most cases all for the basic cost of a call out fee.
Trained and qualified
Our fitters are fully trained in all aspects of TV and satellite distribution
plus we hold the relevant installers certificate for Sky digital satellite
installations. Our fitters have also been trained for working at heights, hold
the relevant certificates of competence and carry public liability insurance as
required by law. We are also approved Sky agents (A.S.A) which enables us to retail
a range of Sky digital boxes.
Our work can vary from a small extension to Public houses, Clubs, Schools,
Hotels and holiday villages. If you need advice on connecting a coax plug or

We do more than most
We have undertaken many jobs where Sky fitters have refused to do it for one
reason or another. Do not assume that because one fitter said no that means you
cannot have Sky digital, there is nearly always a solution. It may incur an
additional cost for brackets or cable but if it means keeping the dish away from
the front door it must be worth it.
We have the technical expertise to answer most of your queries plus we have the
full technical backing of a large number of companies who will also be pleased to
assist.
