| Made by Philex, this set amp can best be
described as a mixture of a std terrestrial set amp and a Sky digital
distribution amp (D.A.Box). It has 2 incoming ports TV / FM and 4 outlets, each of the outlets
provide a 6db signal gain and will loop through the infra red remote
signals via the RF2 out port on the Sky Digibox to any of the 4 rooms.
Using this box allows you to watch the normal terrestrial TV plus watch
& control the Sky channels from any other room. A
TV Link is required to transmit the remote signals from another room. They
are cheaper than a Sky D.A.Box but require a 240v mains socket in the loft
or wherever the signals are being distributed from. |
