The Sky Freesat cards are supplied from Sky for a one off fee of £20.00.

To comply with Sky's regulations you must have the card sent to a UK address.

Once you have received the card from Sky, insert it into the receiver and telephone Sky to request the card be activated. Once the card is activated the Freesat offer has been complied with and you are entitled to upgrade to a subscription package if you wish.

Although Sky usually ask for a telephone number when applying, there is no obligation to give your number or connect this equipment to a fixed telephone line.

	Ideal for people who just want to receive BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 plus the many other free channels (In excess of 200).
	Ideal for people in bad TV aerial signal areas.
	Ideal for people with no fixed telephone line.

What's the catch? Are there any Sky restrictions?

Because they are Sky Freesat cards they are intended for UK mainland use only.

What if I already have a sky system?

You are still entitled to purchase a Freesat system even if you are currently subscribing to Sky pay channels.

Can I subscribe to pay channels at a later date?

Yes! Once the equipment is installed simply contact Sky, they will be pleased to upgrade your card or replace it to receive the subscription channels.
